This previous itinerary was designed for the following: 2 people; 5* star hotel accommodations; with an interest in food, golf, relaxation, and meditation.
- All hotel accommodations (10 nights 5* star hotel)
- Transportation to and from airport, private transfer from Seminyak to Ubud
- Breakfast included (lunch and dinner reservations – food and beverages are not included)

Day 1:
- Arrive at Denpasar International Airport in Bali at 11 pm. You will need to pay a visa fee of $25 per person upon arrival. You will also have to pay a departure tax per person when leaving Bali of IDR 150, 000.
- Your driver will greet you at the airport arrivals; Check into the Oberoi Bali in Seminyak
Day 2:
- Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel at 1 pm to explore Taman Ayun Temple, the Holy Forest of Alas Kedaton (Monkey Forest), and Tanah Lot at sunset. You will return to your hotel at 7:30 pm. Taman Ayun Temple or “Garden Temple in the Water” is a beautiful Hindu temple of the Mengwi Empire built in 1634 with incredible Balinese architecture. The temple and gardens stand on an island in a river with an inner temple surrounded by a moat so it looks like it is floating. Tanah Lot Temple, spectacular at sunset, sits on a large rock formation offshore, where it is continuously changing from the ocean tides. This 15th century temple is one of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast.
Day 3:
- Unscheduled day in Seminyak. From a list of suggestions provided for unscheduled time, this couple decided to take a day trip to the secluded Padang Padang beach and to relax at the hotel pool for the day.
- Dinner reservations at Sardine at 8:30 pm.
Day 4:
- Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am for a tee time at Nirwana Bali Golf Club at 9:00 am. Nirwana is a Greg Norman designed golf course overlooking the Indian Ocean. It is named one of the World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses in Golf Digest 2014.
Day 5:
- Unscheduled day in Seminyak. From a list of suggestions provided for unscheduled time, this couple decided to enjoy the beach, shop, a massage, cocktails and the sunset at beachfront La Lucciola.
- Dinner reservations at Sarong at 8:15 pm.
Day 6:
- Your private driver will pick you up at 11 am for transfer to The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah in Ubud. Optional tea time is 5 – 6 pm and happy hour is 6 – 7 pm. You will be given your own private butler when you arrive at your private villa. A daily private driver can take you into the main part of Ubud for shopping, museums, and restaurants.
- Unscheduled afternoon in Ubud. From a list of suggestions provided for unscheduled time, this couple decided to explore the Ubud Monkey Forest, Puri Lukisan Museum (traditional and modern Balinese paintings and sculpture set in a beautiful garden); lunch at Cascades (excellent cocktails and the best views, overlooking the jungle and river).
Day 7:
- Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. All foods are sourced locally or grown on the grounds.
- Cooking class “Market Tour” at Janet de Neefe’s cooking school from 8 am – 1 pm. Explore Balinese cooking techniques and its role in Balinese culture, ceremonial use and religious importance, followed by a feast and full recipes.
- Dinner reservations at Mozaic at 8 pm.
Day 8:
- Unscheduled day. From a list of suggestions provided for unscheduled time, this couple decided to take a 10-20 minute walk through the rural and picturesque rice paddies to eat at Sari Organik, an experimental organic farm that practices fair trade and the promotion of local produce; meditation class this afternoon at Yoga Barn.
Day 9:
- The Chedi Oriental Ritual spa treatments at your hotel at 12:30 pm (2.5 hours).
- Dinner reservations at Indus at 7 pm.
Day 10:
- From a list of suggestions provided for unscheduled time, this couple decided to take a meditation class at Yoga Barn and relax at the hotel pool.
- Evening cooking class “Twilight Smoked Duck Class” at Janet DeNeefe’s cooking school from 5:30 pm – 9 pm. – Learn how to make Bali’s most celebrated meal. Don’t miss the coconut ice cream!
Day 11:
- A driver will take you to Denpasar International Airport at 12 pm for your flight back home. You will have to pay a departure tax per person when leaving Bali of IDR 150, 000.
