Jordan is a blend of Africa, Asia and the Arab world. You will find deserts and beaches with restaurants, bars, and shops full of international food, travelers and plenty of hookah! Known as “a rose-red city, half as old as time”, Petra is an unbelievable ancient city hidden in the rocky desert of Jordan. Petra is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one the New Seven Wonders of the World. Its history goes back to the 6th century BC where the ancient Nabataean city is carved into the red rocks as high as you can see. The color and craftsmanship are amazing. You have to see it to believe it! Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade even used Petra as its backdrop!

Don’t miss visiting the Red Sea while in Jordan. It is perfect for a refreshing swim or a kite surfing lesson after a hot afternoon in Jordan. The Red Sea is also great for Scuba diving to explore beautiful reefs, ship wrecks, deep cliffs, and amazing sea life. It is one of the healthiest reefs in the world as the government established a marine park here in 1997. I love looking out over the Red Sea toward Israel, Saudi Arabia and Egypt! The water is clear and the lounge chairs are perfect for relaxing and sipping a cocktail after exploring the sites of Amman and Petra! And, here the hotels will make you feel like royalty!
