COLORADO
Colorado is for outdoor types who appreciate climbing 14’ers, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, rock/ice climbing, hiking, biking, and crisp mountain air! Colorado is full of first class ski resorts for all types of skiers and snowboarders! Even if you are only there for the après-ski and views, that’s fine too! Telluride is one of our favorite spots for an après-ski because the views are incredible, especially at the top of the Gondola, and the restaurants are fantastic!
Colorado is great in summer and autumn months too, Blues and Brews Festival or seeing the turning of the aspens are always worth a trip and do not require much activity. Mountain biking, rock climbing and fishing are some warmer weather activities at places like Rocky Mountain National Park or at the high peaks and great lakes in the San Juan Mountains of Lake City, that make Colorado full of adventure year round.
Colorado is full of amazing landscapes from mountains, waterfalls, plains, forests, canyons and mesas. Explore Mesa Verde National Park‘s archaeological sites and amazing cliff dwellings. Ride, hike, or drive up Pikes Peak for incredible views. Take a jeep or motorbike ride up Engineer’s Pass for scary, but thrilling and beautiful 4×4 trails. Explore Colorado’s Great Sand Dunes National Park and you will feel like you are in another world as you walk along the dunes! There is so much wildlife to see and mountains to climb!
Colorado is incredible year round for relaxing at a mountain lodge and spa in Aspen or exploring the great outdoors up in the mountains of Uncompahgre National Forest! Sometimes just sitting in a hot tub looking out over the mountains is all you need!
