Australia is one of my favorite countries in the world. Who wouldn’t love the friendly people, the endless beaches and the relaxed lifestyle. You will love exploring and dining in Melbourne, surfing the beaches of the Gold Coast, watching the sun go down over Ayers Rock, enjoying the sounds of the Sydney Opera House, sailing through the blue waters of the Whitsundays, and catching an Aussie Rules Football game.

Some awesome off the beaten track spots include Fraser Island, a heritage-listed island of blue beaches, lakes and wild animals, or how about seeing the massive limestone rocks jetting out of the water at Twelve Apostles Marine National Park or what about cuddling up with some cute animals at the Koala Sanctuary? You can’t miss the oldest surviving rainforest in the world, the Daintree Rainforest on Australia’s northeastern coast, as it is incredibly green and lush and right next to fabulous quiet beaches. You can even go for a night dive off the Great Barrier Reef and come nose to nose with a shark, like I did! Why watch Shark Week when you can live it? In Australia, the weather is warm, the rainforests are incredible and the wildlife is abundant.
