Idaho

Idaho is incredible. Its breathtaking views, deep canyons and rugged terrain are full of year round fun for those looking for adventure and those looking for some solitude.

Take a rafting trip down Snake River through Hell’s Canyon, the deepest river gorge in the U.S. How about spelunking at Craters of the Moon, a National Monument and Preserve of old ocean lava flows. Hike up 8,400 ft to Heaven’s Gate at the Nez Perce National Forest, where you can see four states, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Montana. Snowmobile, ski, or snowshoe Lookout Pass and Mullan Trials where the powder is fresh. Explore Sun Valley for some of the greatest cross-country skiing in the U.S. You can’t miss Idaho’s Middle Fork of the Salmon River for fly fishing, rafting, and hot springs. Have a walk through an orchard for some apple picking or enjoy a game a golf. Take a bike ride along Boise’s Greenbelt. Picnic near Twin Falls.  The outdoor adventures are endless in Idaho and the landscape is beautiful.

Or just get away from it all and relax at a ranch in Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. It is the second largest protected wilderness after Death Valley. 2.4 million acres of mountains, rivers, and wildlife. You can go horseback riding, hiking, fishing, or just sit on the porch swing overlooking the mountains and breathe in all the fresh air and watch the sun set over the mountains.
